Death of ES[edit]

hi - has anyone read anything more detailed about the circumstances of ES's death? how exactly he came to have sustained serious injuries while scuba diving? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.59.217 (talk) 09:11, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As I recall, information was not very forthcoming at the time of death, but that might have changed since – you could try asking at our reference desk. Regards, Skomorokh 09:24, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The post misses an important detail…[edit]

…which is the word “pianist” in the first few lines. Small detail, but it really helps if someone is searching the first time, there are other jazz trios where the lead is not the pianist (Avishay Cohen trio comes to mind, where Avishay is tha bass player). The only slight reference is that “he studied piano” but it wont hurt be more specific 71.84.119.195 (talk) 19:27, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The first sentence is: "Bror Fredrik "Esbjörn" Svensson (16 April 1964 – 14 June 2008) was a Swedish jazz pianist and founder of the jazz group Esbjörn Svensson Trio, commonly known as e.s.t."? Martinevans123 (talk) 21:34, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
