Previously posted at the admin noticeboard, sent here ([1]): Hello folks. How do we go about getting www.godchecker.com blacklisted from the site and all links to the site removed? It's clearly as bad as it gets (cf. this vs. our own entry, just to start). Interesting pattern

The account that adds the spam link is immediately follow by one that makes a minor edit to hide the spam addition from socks. Evidence per this SPI

Book spam in Lean services

A bit outside this page's usual scope, but the article (and some related topics) has been the target of SPA book spam for years, mostly to promote the views and publications of Debashis Sarkar. While the author seems to be somewhat knowledgeable, the self-adulating presentation on his official website [2] contradicts his grand allegations of being one of the world's foremost experts. Anyway, expert or not, promotional spamming of publications is prohibited for both kinds of authors. It would be great if some interested editors could put the article(s) on their watchlist (already cleaned up some of the most problematic content and spam, but the article history clearly shows the problem). Calendar download link in ~20 articles

I'm not sure if this type of link is acceptable. The download link on the target page doesn't work for me so I'm also unsure if it's free or under paywall. Two more previous spammers likely associated with the site:
The site is being spammed and should get blacklisted (3 spamming SPA accounts, first one is blocked). The site's "non-profit" claim is irrelevant - spamming of any type of link to promote external websites or publications is prohibited. Ok, thanks Beetstra. I assumed that it is also confirmed that the link should be removed from articles, but I wonder if it's acceptable for some relevant articles. The first one I fall on has this mess which I'm not sure what to do with for instance: Islamic_calendar#Calendar-date_converters making me realize that this was far from the only similar external link. The domain name for this advertising agency appears to be intended to look like a WMF affiliate, which it obviously isn't. Spam links have been added both as external links and - more often - as references. [www.indianwikimedia.com/television/news/why-is-detective-dev-anand-burman-a-criminal/2017/07/12 Here] is a pretty typical example of an "article", showing the very poor content - the site is basically a gossip outlet, probably designed to draw customers for the agency. Children's literature

I reverted this edit on Children's literature [3]. But this editor appears to be involved in adding multiple links to, what appears to be commercial sites. I have reverted several other edits but believe that a more knowledgable editor should intervene. Rwood128 (talk) 13:32, 19 August 2017 (UTC)

I added links to the website, which offers interactive adaptations of fairy tales. They could be very useful for parents who want to spend more time with their kids, reading stories together. I assume, according to WP policy on spam , a differentiation should be made between spam articles and legitimate articles about commercial entities. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding. Beat me to listing it here. This one is odd, as the editor didn't really seem to show a pattern of spam and has a fair number of edits. No question this is spam though and the site is anything but a reliable source. There's something odd here, but I don't know what. I can't imagine this is a compromised account, as it's only been a couple of spam posts, not the barrage I would normally expect. Ravensfire (talk) 14:17, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
It may not necessarily be evidence of a pattern, but his user page was once deleted as a self-promotion fake-article with external links. At the time I then noticed his blog's address in another article used as a reference, but it's unclear if it was voluntary (Conversation with Eperoton after my removal attempt which he helped to more gracefully fix, first edit to remove it at that article which shows the URL ). Oddly the blog's address was as part of fields passed via the google books url, but it was one of the external links on the deleted user page. When I first noticed Menj was at Allah as Moon-god which was at WP:FTN at the time, he was a long inactive user on the English Wikipedia but returned and improved the article. I would have to check again if he's the one who added some sources which I wasn't sure were reliable, I remember asking about one source at WP:RSN at the time RSN/bismikaallahuma.org thread because it appeared to be a soapboxing site; it however was used to support the mainstream view (as opposed to the fringe ones) so that settled it. —PaleoNeonate – 17:22, 25 August 2017 (UTC)
