Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

So, I've identified these two editors operating in similar areas (Portraying the Pakistan military in a favorable light), both creating pages on events that might not or maybe borderline meet the WP:N and citing not-so WP:RS. They do include inline citations, but the content can't always be verified. Other editors have repeatedly warned them on their talk pages as well. Given that they're editing contentious topics and historical events, it's crucial to ensure the accuracy of the history presented. Additionally, both editors have been seen editing each other's userpages to add infoboxes. If someone moves their pages to the draft NS, they often move them back to the main NS after making some minor tweaks. I'm fairly new to NPP and that's how I stumbled upon these two editors and I've never contributed in the areas where they contribute, so I'm unsure if there have been any previous sockpuppetry issues. @AfghanParatrooper19891: who might have something to add to this discussion. —Saqib (talk | contribs) 15:02, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have something to add. On the social media app such as TikTok, there are Afghan and Pakistani nationalists who like to fight and argue with eachother. One way they do this is by making edits. To make these edits, they use Wikipedia pages and the info box which may say “Pakistani victory” or “Afghan victory”. I suspect this may be the case. In the 1986 Miran Shah incident page, Waleed listed it as a Pakistani victory despite the fact the mujahideen factions involved were from Gorbez, the Haqqani network and some were even Kochi nomads. Could you provide more details about what's happening on TikTok? @Dreamy Jazz, I'm not sure if you're willing to, but for the sake of keeping historical facts accurate, could you conduct some behavioral investigation? It’s everywhere trust me. These edits usually have some sort of phonk music playing in the background as well as screenshots from Wikipedia pages which may say things like “Pakistani victory” or “Afghan victory”. They are made to taunt people who may oppose either country, but either way most of them are hateful.

How is it a Pakistani victory if the Afghan mujahideen did a bulk of the fighting and captured the commandos? In the source, it states Pakistani only sent a few officers and two were wounded when trying to take down aircraft with English blowpipes. Jalaluddin Haqqani is Afghan, the Haqqani network started out as an Afghan terror group, Kochi mujahids are Kochi nomads from Afghanistan, and Gorbez mujahideen are additionally from Afghanistan.
