Suspected sockpuppets

Appears to be editing the same content as Destinero and some questions about this have arisen on the IP's talk page with no response by the IP. (This is my first time doing something like this, so I hope this is the correct move!). SarahStierch (talk) 14:37, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You can see that this user as Destinero has edit-warred (or whatever) with User:Ckatz repeatedly and then had their account blocked on Jan 9th for a "community editing restriction" violation. Then the IP appeared and started edit-warring of sorts with Ckatz again on Jan 9th. These subjects are all the same homosexuality and psychology, LGBT parenting and the American College of Pediatricians. Now the IP is stirring the pot at LGBT parenting (again) and I just fear what will happen next. For me this is WP:DUCK. Thanks! SarahStierch (talk) 15:06, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The two users also have similar stories if you look at their User Compare, including topics, language, etc. You can also see that when Destinero stops editing LGBT Parenting the IP picks up. Seems quite obvious to me. I understand you don't always checkuser accounts with only one alternate, but, I would appreciate the consideration at this time! Just stumbled across another editor contributing to LGBT parenting, User:Valm99. Both the IP and Destinero edit the same articles as Valm, including Gregory M. Herek and appears to question user edits about how homosexuality in used the context of articles. Valm also writes in the same style as the IP and Destinero; using terms like "thus" a lot. Comments by other users[edit]

Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims.

Just want to add a notice, that IP listed above was CheckUser-ed on Czech Wikipedia as Destinero. This is already noted and linked onIP's talk page. This is confirmed and there is no dispute on that. On Czech Wikipedia Destinero has similar status as here - topic ban on homosexuality with attempts to avoid it by editing under IP.
On user Valm, it should be proven, but i don't think, this is a Destinero's puppet. Watch this edit where IP (proven as Destinero) is reverting just inserted passage by user Valm. This look like two different users.
Thank you for letting me know on my talk page. I do not watch EN Wikipedia too often. Regards --DeeMusil (talk) 17:10, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for chiming in. Their writing style is the same, I honestly (and I hate to do this) believe he was replying to Valm just to be smart about sockpuppeting. The three accounts have the same writing style and edit the same content. I'm surprised I'm the only "paranoid" one :) SarahStierch (talk) 20:16, 18 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments[edit]

Looks rather  Unlikely from technical evidence. There are too many differences for me to see any socking here. –MuZemike 17:19, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Clerk note: Alright, that's fine. Destinero has gone quiet anyway, so I'm going to close with no action taken for now. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 04:31, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
