Karmaisking (nth request)[edit]

  • Code letter: F – Evasion of community-based bans or blocks

Actually, I've already blocked AntonioMustDie (talk · contribs) as a fairly blatant sock of Karmaisking (talk · contribs) - same obsessive idees fixes and rhetorical style, and this is pretty obvious. Karmaisking tends to create socks in bunches, though, so I was wondering if a checkuser could spare a quick scan to see if there are other active or sleeper socks associated here. Thanks. Karmaisking (10th request)[edit]

    • Code letter: F – Evasion of community-based bans or blocks
  • Supporting evidence: User Karmaisking has been banned for extensive sockpuppetry and disruptive POV-pushing on economics articles. These two new accounts continue to make nearly identical edits. Seems obvious, but confirmation is requested, please. — Satori Son 12:58, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Additional information/supporting evidence:Added four additional suspected usernames. Three IP addresses with identical contribution pattern and matching geographic whois data also added for reference. Note that MakTheKnife, TruthComesFromAGunBoat and LetThemMintPaper have all effectively admitted to being sockpuppets established for purposes of evading indefinite block (see contribution history and various editor talkpages).--Gregalton (talk) 14:43, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Added most recent IP: for further info.--Gregalton (talk) 03:52, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Added more IPs: Same behavior, personal attacks, POV pushing, egregious evasion of community ban. -- lk (talk) 04:55, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Karmaisking (7th request)[edit]

  • F: Evasion of community-based bans or blocks

User:MonetaryCrankster (sockpuppet of User:Karmaisking)[edit]

Edit history, including editing of previous talk page work of Karmaisking (and sockpuppets); followed by geographic IPs that fit pattern. New username barely changed version of previous sockpuppet. See diff1], diff2, diff3, etc.

Karmaisking (5th)[edit]

Edits at Monetary reform show clear repetition of previous patterns, wp links, etc.--Gregalton (talk) 11:44, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Additional information needed Please provide the name(s) of the suspected sockpuppet accounts and diffs of their behavior, using the {{checkuser}} template as shown in previous requests. Thatcher 17:39, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies. Edits by User:Lifeissuffering are quite obviously yet another incarnation of indefinitely blocked userUser:Karmaisking in violation of block, and his previous sockpuppets, and essentially admitted to here and particularly here (as well as virtually all edits by this user at various pages.--Gregalton (talk) 10:24, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Karmaisking[edit]

  • F: Evasion of community-based bans or blocks
  • Supporting evidence: User Karmaisking was indef-blocked for sockpuppetry, trying to push conspiracy theories on articles relating to fractional-reserve banking. See here.

Apart from obvious continuing avoidance of ban using numbered socks, also admits to doing so at given IP address here.

UPDATE: To be clear, Karmaisking is documented sockpuppeteer. User:Socppt14 (and now User:Socppt15 are continuations of the same pattern and quite clear. User:Joebob2k6 is uncertain, and may in fact be another user or simply another diversion by Karmaisking.

RememberKarma and Socppt11-13 are simply provided as history. The IP address is also provided for RFC purposes.

(And thanks for the formatting help!)--Gregalton (talk) 04:37, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Joebob2k6 is Red X Unrelated.
  • Everything else is  Confirmed. Thatcher 04:02, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
All the accounts named in this report (except Joebob2k6), plus the IP, have been blocked and tagged. EdJohnston (talk) 04:47, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lagrandebanquesucre[edit]

User has a number of editing propensities (such as references to anal sex) as well as sole area of interest debt-based monetary system. Started editing history by insulting User:Karmaisking:" I fully support your firm stance against that loser/reject/troll/sockpuppet/mockpuppet/conspirator, the uncouth "Barbarian" Karmaisking, Gregalton.", possibly as a diversion. Abuse and insults ramping up from initially low level.--Gregalton (talk) 13:13, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Lagrandbanquesucre is  Confirmed, the others are stale. Thatcher 15:03, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

KarmasBlackSwan[edit]

Just now, I received a bizarre message from a new user with a similar name, claiming to be "watching me" [2], who also has been editing primarily articles relating to fractional-reserve banking. See here.   Zenwhat (talk) 04:21, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk assistance requested: - can we merge this one with "Karmaisking", please? - thanks! - Alison 05:23, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Karmaisking[edit]

Vandalism regarding debt-based monetary system, debt money, debt-free money, credit crunch, and other monetary theory-related articles.

Debt-based monetary system was a POV-pushing article created by anonymous user 165.228.245.66 and heavily edited by Timothymak [3], Karmaisking [4], and Sm8900 [5], who also clearly engaged in POV-pushing.

Debt money was created by Timothymak [6], edited by the same IP 65.228.245.66 [7] and also edited by Karmaisking [8] and Rememberkarma [9], again, heavy POV-pushing.

At Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Debt_money, there is Rememberkarma's comments: [10] Karmaisking in that same discussion: [11] No distinction is made between the puppeteer and his puppet.

On Debt-free money, Maktimothy has been POV-pushing. [12]

The Maktimothy account stopped being in use last August. [13] The other accounts, Rememberkarma, Karmaisking, and Timothymak were all created less than a month later. [14] [15] [16]

A recently created account, HarryKo, seems to have been created for the sole purpose of vandalism. [17].

Every account listed above has also engaged in persistent pov-pushing (if not outright vandalism), regarding all articles on monetary theory. Zenwhat (talk) 15:06, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed - Rememberkarma= Karmaisking = Timothymak. Maktimothy is too old. The others are unrelated. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 02:07, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Clerk note: blocked and tagged the socks, note that I didn't block the main account (if someone wants to do it, feel free) -- lucasbfr ho ho ho 12:19, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
