The result of the discussion was keep all. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 20:51, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Now unused. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 21:37, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - Anyone who previously used or knew of these templates and returns to them will be redirected to something useful, which is a positive. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 10:13, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • In that very unlikely scenario (they were never used more than a handful of times before they were redirected), they are very likely to know of the unnumbered alternatives. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:34, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep all. Harmless, and I doubt these titles will ever be used for anything else. Steel1943 (talk) 18:01, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep all as harmless. Being unused isn't a policy-based rationale for deletion in RfD. J947messageedits 21:34, 6 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Per Special:Diff/976734069 and Special:Diff/976734981, this term does not appear to actually exist. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:21, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Auto driver[edit]

The result of the discussion was disambiguate -- JHunterJ (talk) 11:13, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Very dubious target; I've never heard this phrase used in this sense. Nearly every use of this phrase in English Wikipedia (including the two films Auto Driver and Auto Driver (2015 film)) is in the Indian English sense of "auto rickshaw driver", though auto rickshaw itself doesn't contain the phrase "auto driver". In other varieties of English it's a rather uncommon way of clarifying that you mean "automobile driver" as opposed to "bus driver" or "device driver" [1]. Not sure what to do with this. Delete? Disambiguate? Retarget to Auto Driver or auto rickshaw? 59.149.124.29 (talk) 09:04, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Vegetable pests[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. Participants broadly agree that this is an ambiguous term with multiple meanings, and not suitable for a redirect. There are indeed a few incoming links, which I'll fix. ~ mazca talk 12:46, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

While this phrase could be understood to be referring to pests that are vegetables (in the sense of referring to plants) and this would be the right target, it is just as or more likely to refer to pests that target vegetables, such as various insects. This isn't the right target for this redirect, and I'm not sure where the best one is. Hog Farm Bacon 20:47, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom, usage of the search term in academic texts and on the internet seems to skew toward "pests that afflict vegetables" rather than "vegetables that are pests". signed, Rosguill talk 19:18, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Issho[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Isshō. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 09:08, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This could be a search term for people with the surname Isshō (more correctly transcribed Isshou without diacritics). Given the partial match, I'm leaning towards deletion over creating a surname dab. Note as well that the current target (with broken section formatting) is a fictional character who is generally referred to by his surname, Fujitora, making the current target less likely as an intended search result. signed, Rosguill talk 16:29, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Isshō, which I've just created. Note that it's a given name rather than a surname. This character isn't even covered properly in the target article so it's not worth listing. —Xezbeth (talk) 16:24, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This seems fine to me. signed, Rosguill talk 17:45, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User:Doc glasgow[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. Now that I know it, I might as well close this discussion. (non-admin closure) Seventyfiveyears (talk) 00:43, 6 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This user is not mentioned in the "Scott MacDonald" user page, leaving the entry unclear. Also, "Doc glasgow" was neither renamed nor moved to that current username. Seventyfiveyears (talk) 16:24, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • The history at User:Doc glasgow suggest they are indeed the same person—not a rename process, but an editor returning with a new username. --BDD (talk) 19:26, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Doc glasgow" still has adminstrative priviliges. If an administrator creates a new account and it is nominated to have admin rights, he/she must give up administrative rights from their old account. Owning more than one administrator account is considered sockpuppetry, unless if the new one is a bot. Seventyfiveyears (talk) 01:32, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per BDD. This is common practice. Steel1943 (talk) 23:47, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I choose the redirect to not be deleted, since the previous comment sounded obvious. Instead, I prefer if the old account gives up administrative privileges. Seventyfiveyears (talk) 02:11, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • That's not within the scope of RfD, and I recommend this discussion be closed. Steel1943 (talk) 04:14, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delete to encourage article creation per WP:RfD#D10. The season article contains virtually no information about this race, and all other races of the 2018 season have articles. A7V2 (talk) 02:11, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There have been many protests of various sorts during Trump's presidency. I don't think we can really pick one out as the primary one. Hog Farm Bacon 02:04, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as no clear primary topic. The reader could be looking for any protest from January 2017 onwards and there have been protests in support of trump and protests which are neither for nor against him.

  • Comment - I don't have a view on this redirect other than if it is kept, the section it is meant to point it is "#During Trump's presidency" which probably changed name. A7V2 (talk) 08:17, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
