Delete or find an appropriate target. It is unfortunate now with the United States diplomatic cables leak that we don't have an article discussing this subject. What we have is a redirect, and in my opinion it would have been better if we didn't even have that. The current redirect target has only tangential relevance to diplomatic communications as it discusses the technical vulnerabilities of underwater communications cables. meco (talk) 08:48, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. Telegraphy#Diplomatic telegram seems to be more relevant than Diplomacy, as the topic is about the communication (i.e., the telegram), not its purpose (i.e., diplomacy). Moreover, the Telegraphy article also includes more detailed information about telegraphy being superseded by modern technology, which gives greater context. It would be good to have more sources on the definition of "diplomatic cable" other than news reports about leaks, though. —sroc (talk) 22:55, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The 5th and 6th redirects are useless; the earlier is definitely not a popular search term, while the latter will automatically be redirected to "Whore of Babylon" by MediaWiki (since its just a caps change).
