Talk:Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1/Old cast list with references (edit | subject | history | links | watch | logs)

This was created as an archive of an old cast list in the main article that was largely removed in this edit. However, we already have an archive of the old cast list in the form of page history. I believe this should be deleted by the same logic that underlies WP:COPIES: having forked content lying around is a slight net negative to the encyclopedia, which is easily overcome by the fork having some use, no matter how remote. This one does not, and thus should be deleted. HouseBlastertalk 22:10, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. * Pppery * it has begun... 02:15, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Do not delete. It is NOT forked content similar to the basis of WP:COPIES, but is a record for discussion of material that was cut from the article. The subpage should remain available in order to understand User:Tony Sidaway’s article talk page thread of 23:08, 19 November 2010. There is no reason to delete. If it is causing some actual issue, which I can’t see, then consider archiving by redirection to its one meaningful incoming link, Talk:Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1/Archive 3. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 02:04, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Meaningful historical purpose as it forms a part of the record of a decision-making process (that seems to have significantly influenced the article).—Alalch E. 00:16, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
