Draft:Elena Tee Yen Ling[edit]

Draft:Elena Tee Yen Ling (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Unsourced WP:BLP full of personal trivial and no redeemable qualities. It doesn't technically fit WP:G11 because it's not wholly negative, so bringing it to MfD. -- RoySmith (talk) 03:59, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete would be an instant A7 in mainspace and a great example of why we should extend A7 to Draft space. Legacypac (talk) 04:17, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Should be speedy deletable as proposed at Wikipedia_talk:Criteria_for_speedy_deletion#Applying_A*_criteria_to_submitted_drafts. No discussion is required here. MfD should not be just a rubber stamping process. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 05:00, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • @RoySmith: I think you meant "wholly positive", but I'm kind of baffled why you say that. The only two sentences in the article that I don't find wholly positive are "Elena was born in a Lahad Datu, a small town with an estimated population opf 27,887 in 2010, it is the capital of Lahad Datu District in Tawau." (sic) and "She is the youngest of 5 children." You'd really decline a G11 tag because of those? —Cryptic 05:15, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as promotional Had this been tagged for G11, i would have deleted it, and I am known for being rather strict about speedy deletions. But since the nominator did not think it quite promotional enough for a G11, MfD is a very proper way to delete this overly promotional page. This is an excellent example of why we do not need to apply the Axx criteria to draft space. There is no problem deleting this without resort to such a new criterion. • Delete I agree that this would be an instant A7 if it were in the mainspace and also agree with DESiegel. This is purely promotional in nature. --TheSandDoctor Talk 05:40, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
