Image appears to be decorative and does not contribute anything to article per WP:NFCC#8. See also File talk:Peyton school shooting drawing.JPG and WT:NFCC for discussions regarding a rejected attempt for this image to be speedy deleted per a request by the "original author". Up for deletion on Commons (c:Commons:Deletion requests/File:St. Cyril's Church (Frescoes).jpg) so it doesn't technically fit F8. Nevertheless, unlikely to be free on English Wikipedia if unfree on Commons. Magog the Ogre (tc) 16:44, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

12th century frescoes are not free? Either way, this is the English Wikipedia and not the Commons, there is a difference you know. The posts on the source website are up for Creative Commons licenses, I see no issue with this images inclusion in our project to better portray and illistrate an important historical architectural piece. The author from that source website has himself published images from the website onto other Wikimedia project sites. Clearly not a copyright violation. § DDima 06:43, 8 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Uploader has for at least one other image claimed to be copyright holder, apparently based on the mistaken belief that taking a screen shot of a copyrighted music video with his cell phone is okay. See the discussion. This image looks to be the same sort. Whpq (talk) 18:30, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fails WP:NFCC#8: no apparent discussion of the old logo. RJaguar3 | u | t 23:00, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: Non-free use rationale also states logo is being used in infobox which hasn't been the case since July 30, 2014. The nfur does not seem to have been updated when image was replaced and moved to the article body by LtPowers with this edit. Even if nfur was fixed, however, a simple caption stating "Pre-August 2014 logo" is not, in my opinion, sufficient to show the "contextual significance" needed for NFCC#8. So, I think this file should be deleted unless sourced discussion about the logo itself is added to the article. Another option to deletion which might be worth discussing is whether the image is too simple to be protected by copyright. Since it is the logo of a US company, it might be OK as {{PD-logo}}, {{Trademark}} and {{Copy to Wikimedia Commons}}. The text is obviously not copyright protected, but the "brain" image may be so this probably needs to be discussed more. FWIW, if the logo was "PD-logo", it would not be subject to WP:NFC. - Marchjuly (talk) 04:36, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
