Oppose merging Saying there should beno overlapping categories ignores the fall of four empires after or during WWI (the Austro-Hungarian empire, German Empire, Ottoman Empire and Russian Empire!). There are 20th century decades for several – Category:1910s in Austria-Hungary and Category:1920s in the Ottoman Empire. Other Empires by decade are Category:Decades in the Italian Empire from the 1880s to te 1940s. And if merging to “Russia” it should be by decade ie to Category:1910s crimes in Russia and Category:1920s crimes in Russia to go with Category:1970s crimes in Russia. Nominator's rationale: This category was created by a dubious account, but I think it would be defining if renamed to align with the "martial arts master" stock character. I don't think simply being a "trainer" is defining, however. It has to be their entire character and some, like Batman, must be purged from the category.
