Nominator's rationale:manually merge, "consequences" is a vague concept for a category, especially since this war is not over yet and there is no aftermath. Insofar any of the content of this category is not already somewhere else in the tree of Category:Syrian civil war it may find its place there. But purge things that are too vaguely connected to the war such as subCategory:Kurdish separatism in Turkey. Nominator's rationale: the circumstance of a player's debut isn't defining. This has only happened a few times in MLB history and it's not because the players were crazy good, they just needed guys to use in the playoffs. So it's less an accomplishment and is more peripheral trivia. Also likely qualifies as a WP:SMALLCAT - 50% of this category is only there because the screwed-up COVID season happened, this is not likely to grow any time soon Nohomersryan (talk) 02:44, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Support. It is not a small cat, but it is not defining of the player, but rather a particular set of circumstances at the club at the time of call up.
