The result of the discussion was: delete/merge as nominated. – Fayenatic London 17:40, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Delete per WP:SMALLCAT. A full triple diffusion of Category:Christian Universalists by denomination, by nationality and by century, is really over the top, as this tree is way too poorly populated. Note that upmerging instead of deleting is not needed: with this proposal, all articles remain in the tree of Category:Christian Universalists anyway because there is also a complete diffusion taking place in Category:Christian Universalists by century which remains untouched by the nomination. Marcocapelle (talk) 19:44, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Marcocapelle: Can you explain more about this nomination: are you saying that you think the by century scheme should remain? —Justin (koavf)TCM 20:56, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yes. The by-century scheme is less of an issue, as there are only few centuries here that would apply for WP:SMALLCAT. Marcocapelle (talk) 20:58, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Question: Why are you proposing to keep American, British, German, Anglican, Quaker and UCA categories, while deleting the other nationalities and denominations? Just because of size? – Fayenatic London 22:25, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Marcocapelle: Keeping some of them but then deleting/upmerging the others is the opposite of what WP:SMALLCAT says: we should keep or abandon the scheme, not split the difference. —Justin (koavf)TCM 07:05, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • WP:SMALLCAT says "unless such categories are part of a large overall accepted sub-categorization scheme". However, this exception rule doesn't apply in this case because the scheme is not large at all. Marcocapelle (talk) 07:25, 25 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment If there is consensus about all of this, I will post a new CfD to upmerge the three diffusion categories (by denomination, by nationality and by century) to the top category. With the current nomination, there will only be some 10 grandchild categories left (in total), they can easily become child categories instead. Marcocapelle (talk) 20:52, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Upmerge everything to Category:Christian Universalists. I see no compelling case for subdividing in any way a category of this size.John Pack Lambert (talk) 02:59, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: no consensus. – Fayenatic London 17:47, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Downmerge - at least merge, because all these metropolitans were 'from' and 'of' Montenegro at the same time. Prefer downmerge over upmerge, just in general, because for bishops the territory that they are bishops of is more defining for them than the place were they come from. The result of the discussion was: delete (contents merged to Category:Bishops of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church from Canada). Good Ol’factory (talk) 23:24, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Delete per WP:OVERLAPCAT with Category:Bishops of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Canada.
The two category names are different by a single word: 'from' versus 'in'. All 4 bishops in the 'from' category are also contained in the 'in' category. The mother church in the Ukraine has not been split in an 'in' and a 'from' category, so there's no need for this child church to do so either. Before deleting, I would recommend to move the parenting from the 'from' to the 'in' category. Marcocapelle (talk) 15:52, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support The job is more defining than the nationality of the job holder. Laurel Lodged (talk) 20:48, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: upmerge/delete as proposed. Good Ol’factory (talk) 23:22, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Upmerge the first two categories per WP:SMALLCAT. After this merge, the third category will be empty. Marcocapelle (talk) 14:19, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: rename. Good Ol’factory (talk) 01:25, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: To match the structure of the article names following this 2011 Talk:Adygea#Requested_move discussion. Ricky81682 (talk) 05:36, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: rename. Good Ol’factory (talk) 23:26, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Rename to be more descriptive. Template:PD-Bain is for images in the George Grantham Bain collection from the Library of Congress. Ricky81682 (talk) 05:29, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
