Delete I agree, this article has failed to properly explain why its subject is important. Spike Witwicky has not been discussed by independent sources in a meaningful way. ―Susmuffin ^Talk 12:48, 18 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Redirect to List of The Transformers (TV series) characters where there is a mention. Since most of these articles are being redirected anyways, why not take it to a discussion over at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Anime and manga? We don't need anymore of these mass deletions on a single subject as they are drawn out and can easily be lumped together or pre-decided via consensus which ones to keep/delete. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 14:32, 18 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- @Knowledgekid87: I am not the one nominating the Transformers fancruft, but I guess the issue is that if it is raised in such a venue, nobody will volunteer to do it. So AfD is the venue to get things done (reduce the number of fancruft articles) in any foreseeable timeframe. - Yeah, community discussions certainly can help, but I feel like this is the most definitive way to remove this problem. This is especially true for these types of articles where some random fan will stop by to try to "fix" the issue. TTN (talk) 12:36, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  - Some of these articles are straightforward redirects though, and I already have told you that we have requests for protection.
