Name plates[edit]
Seems like a non-notable/unencyclopaedic topic for an article. Far too general; I can't see it ever amounting to anything useful. --PeruvianLlama(spit) 09:25, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep with wikify tag. 800k google hits. I found some pictures on commons but they were a different sense of nameplate than meant in the article. Could also be merged with Nameplate -- Astrokey44|talk 14:29, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep, though the article needs a lot of work. I was thinking about starting an article about nameplates because they are often mentioned in technical writing, like nameplate capacity, nameplate voltage and such. -- Kjkolb 18:33, 16 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep: Okay, the article seemed a bit "silly" to me at first, but based on the changes it's undergone over the past days, and the already-existing Nameplate article which I didn't know about before, my opinion has been swayed.
