Not seeing significant coverage from reliable sources which are independent of the subject. The sources in the article Some trivial mentions (e.g. [1][2]), and he certainly is covered in non-independent sources (e.g. [3][4][5]). There is one source from NatGeo (which is explained in Justin Dunnavant § National Geographic) which appears to check all the boxes, but we need multiple sources for notability.
I will also note that this article was created with WP:WIKIED – to the creator, please let me know if anything in this nomination is not clear and I would be more than happy to assist! HouseBlastertalk 22:05, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

- Delete as WP:Too soon. Being part of many research projects does not confer notability. Xxanthippe (talk) 22:19, 2 January 2024 (UTC).

- Delete. Assistant professors usually have not had time to accumulate enough impact to become notable, and I see nothing here that might indicate an exception to that. The citation record is not yet strong enough for WP:PROF#C1, and the student and postdoctoral awards listed do not pass WP:PROF#C2. The "Outstanding Public Archaeology Initiative Award" might be somewhat more significant, but was given to the "Archaeology in the Time of Black Lives Matter” Virtual Panel, not to Dunnavant personally. —David Eppstein (talk) 01:23, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

- Delete I agree with WP Toosoon. Also the page looks like written from a fan’s point of view - not a good case for Wikipedia biography. --FightBrightTigh (talk) 09:14, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
