Not sure how this passes WP:GNG. The only WP:SIGCOV I was able to find was the New York Times article. 🐱FatCat96🐱 Chat with Cat 04:29, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. There's long standing consensus that a full-length obituary in New York Times is unambiguous evidence of notability. As the announcement of his induction into the Internet Hall of Fame says: As a developer, researcher and evangelist of the TCP/IP protocols, Dan Lynch played a key role in driving global adoption of these protocols and fueling the Internet’s commercial success, public visibility and use. That's why he is notable. This will likely be a speedy keep. Jfire (talk) 05:40, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep He's not a household name, but he's one of the fathers of the Internet. Amazingly, Interop doesn't even mention Mr. Lynch. — Sean Brunnock (talk) 11:14, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - His inclusion on the Internet Hall of Fame definitely makes him notable. — Maile (talk) 15:06, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
