Arabish[edit]

A minor variant of Arabic chat alphabet. The article makes claims of millions of users, and famous tools by big companies, yet no sources can be found. Most references don't mention Arabish; the ones that do are Urban Dictionary, a forum post, and a Microsoft ad that mentions the word in passing as one of the synonyms for Arabic chat alphabet. The article is largely a copy-and-paste job of Arabic chat alphabet and Arabic language. Nice doggy (talk) 08:01, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to call this a better version, and more proper and accurate definition of What you call it Arabic chat alphabet which we never heard about it. What you call Arabish has been used by Microsoft & Google with the introduced the conversion from English-Arabic (Arabish) to Arabic fonts. While we never heard about Arabic chat alphabet, i am amazed how 3 words name of another definition of Arabish could replace it and taken for granted as its the right way to explain Arabish? references been added for Arabish, and its growing day by day. Merge: Seems to be a variant or subtype of the Arabic chat alphabet. I'd be more ready to consider keeping the article if there were an Arabic version, but the foreign language link goes to the Arabic page. Some of the other foreign language links are the same, kinda cheating IMO. There are no content pages that link to this article. --RDBury (talk)07:46, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
