Potential username issue

"TorpTech" is short for Torpedotechnician, and I can't think of any reason ahy this should be a problem!!

User Page restored

Hi,

Following a request, I have reviewed your deleted user page and have restored it. My apologies for being rather hasty in deleting it. However, might I suggest that you do remove your email address from the user page? The problem is that your user name (which looks at first glance like a company) coupled with the inclusion of contact details (which company spam accounts often look like) give the impression that the page might be a spam account. It caught me out, that's for certain. If you have Wikipedia email set up, you don't need to show your address, plus it adds a level of privacy too.

Ultimately, it is up to you what you do. However, to avoid the future inconvenience of the occasional over-zealous admin deleting your user page or blocking you unfairly, you may wish to consider making the change. Stephen! ^Coming... 15:59, 31 May 2018 (UTC)
