Disambiguation link notification for September 2[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited York railway station, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Redcar railway station. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:34, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Congleton Station Edit[edit]

Greatings

In regards to your edit to the page on Congleton railway station, I can confirm that the station is still a mainline station as Cross Country have only suspended their limited calls at the station due to Covid 19.

Many Thanks Maurice Oly. Maurice Oly (talk) 00:21, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for Class 321 revert.[edit]

Hey I just want to say I’m sorry for reverting an edit by you but I had to do so to deal with issues caused by an IP address user who had made a poorly sourced edit and had changed the scrapped number next to number scrapped with finding a new reference to back up the edit.

I have re-added the typo you fixed and I thank you for fixing the typo.

Again I’m sorry for reverting your edit but I sadly had no choice in order to fix the issues with the page as I could not see the rollback option in twinkle, If I had I would have just rolled back the IP address’s users edits while keeping you edit.Maurice Oly (talk) 18:40, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Intercardinal directions[edit]

Hi Romiley, thank you for your edits to Nottingham. We have a convention in Wikipedia that intercardinal compass directions are not hyphenated. Please see Points of the compass, Northeast, Northwest, etc. Kind regards, Rodney Baggins (talk) 08:03, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Use of reference templates[edit]

Hi @Romiley401,

Thank you for your edits to Driving Brake Standard Open. I did notice however that the reference provided was inserted as a bare URL - such references are subject to link rot, and because of this templates, such as Cite Web exist. Please try and make use of these templates when adding references to articles.

Once again, thank you for your contibutions. Danners430 (talk) 09:17, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Romiley401, Thanks again for your edits to British Rail Class 86. I did however note that one of the citations added was a bare cite without the Template:Cite Magazine template applied. I've corrected this, but please bear this in mind for the future. Once again thanks for your contributions. Danners430 (talk) 16:39, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
