Disambiguation link notification for June 30[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Occhiali, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Italian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

December 2022[edit]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Mediterranean Fleet. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Please read MOS:CAPTION. - David Biddulph (talk) 10:50, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm TylerBurden. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TylerBurden (talk) 06:06, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

August 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! DuncanHill (talk) 14:12, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to join New pages patrol[edit]

Hello Progüvo06!

  • The New Pages Patrol is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles needing review. We could use a few extra hands to help.
  • We think that someone with your activity and experience is very likely to meet the guidelines for granting.
  • Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time, but it requires a strong understanding of Wikipedia’s CSD policy and notability guidelines.
  • Kindly read the tutorial before making your decision, and feel free to post on the project talk page with questions.
  • If patrolling new pages is something you'd be willing to help out with, please consider applying here.

Thank you for your consideration. We hope to see you around!

Your lack of edit summaries or talk page engagement is unacceptable.[edit]

Both are required, H:FIES says among other things that "According to the consensus policy, all edits should be explained (unless the reason for them is obvious)—either by clear edit summaries, or by discussion on the associated talk page. It is a good practice to provide a meaningful summary for every edit, especially when reverting (undoing) the actions of other editors or deleting existing text; otherwise, people may question your motives for the edit. In appropriate circumstances, a summary can be quite brief ("ce" and "rvv" for example)." You aren't doing that. Responding to messages on you talk page is a key part of collaboration, and I've blocked a number of editors for never responding. You are experienced enough that you should be aware of all of this, so if it continues I'll either take you to ANI or block you myself - which would be easiest and not waste anyone else's time. Stroganov School[edit]

Is there a reason you moved Stroganov school to Stroganov School after there was a RM that was recently closed with consensus to have this in lowercase? Mellk (talk) 17:43, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved it back. If you think this should not be the title, please start a new RM. Thanks. Mellk (talk) 18:34, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
