Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Jordin Sparks do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 03:50, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well potentially being penalized by search engines. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for continuing to add spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Tan ǀ 39 16:41, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, I firmly contest this block, for two reasons: first, I have got a "last warning" at 4.36 PM (I had stop editing articles at 4.31 PM), then I stopped... and got banned at 4.41 PM! Second, Deezer has a community part, that is equivalent to Last.FM or Imeem, and that deserves to be on Wikipedia as much as them... So why couldn't it be there?

Decline reason:

I can't see any evidence, either in your edit history or in this request, that you are planning to use Wikipedia for anything other than the promotion of your web site. Since that's the only thing you want to do, and it's against the rules, you don't have a need for an active account at this time. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:54, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Okay then. I admit that my only aim was, right now, to drop some links to talk about Deezer, since it is a nice competitor to Last FM and Imeem, and brings some features to wikipedia users. I understand you blocked me then. However, can I "benefit" from a defined blocking time so that I can edit (with no ads!) music-focused articles?

Decline reason:

Thing is, your username is also a problem, since it matches the name on the links you were inserting. So, no. You should instead start up a new account with an unrelated name, since this username has nothing but blemish on it. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 17:21, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have unblocked you per your agreement in the second unblock request to cease advertising for the website with which you are presumably affiliated. Please understand I will be overseeing your contributions for a period of time, and the block will be reinstated if you do not comply with Wikipedia policy. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Tan ǀ 39 17:42, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
