May 2007[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed maintenance notices from Miguel Condé, even though required changes haven't been made. If you are uncertain whether the page requires further work, or if you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the page's talk page before removing the notice from the page. These notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of a page. Thank you. Real96 03:21, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove maintenance notices from articles on Wikipedia, as you did to Miguel Condé. It may be considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Real96 03:32, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest[edit]

Hi! This is a friendly warning to say that it is Wikipedia policy to avoid contributing articles to which you have a strong connection as this is considered to produce a "conflict of interest". The policy can be found at WP:COI. Unfortunately, this has led to the nomination of the article Miguel Condé for deletion. As you have a username which indicates that you may be Mr Condé it is assumed that this policy has been breached and therefore this makes the article vulnerable for deletion.Madmedea 15:15, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Miguel Condé biography[edit]

All official documentation, biographical and other, regarding Miguel Condé is handled by his wife, Carola Condé. Miguel Condé's biography has been revised and updated in March 2007 and has been published in an institutional catalogue for a exhibition organized by the Ajuntament (Town Hall) of Sitges. The catalogue will be mailed to the libraries of the institutions listed under Collections (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miguel_Condé#Exhibitions) shortly. The catalogue will also be available in PDF at Miguel Condé's website shortly. Not-so-updated biographies can be found in the libraries of the Museum of Modern Art in New York or the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid. Over the next week I will add further information to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miguel_Condé, if it is not deleted, of course. If it would be preferred that someone not connected to Miguel Condé added the information I would be glad to email the aforementioned catalogue in PDF or even mail it by post. Wikipedia standards on reliability and verifiability are based on the use of third party sources - so although official biographies are useful they are considered to be not as valuable as other coverage: either books about the subject, newspaper coverage etc. If you can provide any links to these added them to the bottom of the page and I will integrate the information into the article. However, as this article is at "stub" stage I would hope the information and the referencing which is currently provided should be enough to win the article for deletion debate.
