Hello Master Vinaki, welcome to Wikipedia!

To get you up and running very quickly, here are some links that will help you get started:

The help page, for which there is always a link in the navigation menu on the left-hand side of your screen, includes links to the above pages as well as to everything else you could possibly need to know about Wikipedia and how the Wikipedia community operates.

Be sure to drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log so we can meet you and help you get started.

Here are some things that new users sometimes have trouble with, and you will soon find these tips useful:

  • When you write messages on talk pages, be sure to sign your name. You can do this using three tildes, like [[User:Go for it!|Go for it!]]. If you use four, a datestamp is automatically added. Five provides the datestamp only.
  • Remember to check your work using the Show preview button before you save. This helps prevent mistakes (and the edits used to correct them). Thank you.
  • Here is information about what you can do with your User page.

I hope you enjoy your experience at Wikipedia and decide to stay. Sincerely, --Go for it!

Anonymous?[edit]

Why won't you login, Vinaki? there's been a few edits done by an anonymous ip under your name. Zero1328 07:58, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I'm new. I only joined at New Year. How are anons supposed to be using my account? Master Vinaki 10:35, 4 February 2006 (EST)

They don't, but I saw one anonymous ip (203.63.71.121) sign your name in a Talk page. The reason you probably registered was to retain an identity while editing pages, but seeing an anonymous ip sign with your name could appear dubious. Zero1328 02:41, 4 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Or I could have edited while not being logged in. Sorry for the confusion. Master Vinaki 23:19, 4 February 2006 (EST)

Square-Enix Stuff[edit]

I was sort of unfamiliar with the whole user talk page thing, so now I think I've got a bit of hand in it. So yeah, I like FF and KH and anything SE-related *grins*. —Mirlen 04:54, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I know, me too. Except the only FF I've played is the X series. Man, I hope they redecide on the FFVII thing for PS3. I've always wanted to play it but I can't seem to find it. I really, really want to watch FF7: Advent Children. Damn why does Australia take so long to get all the games. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Master Vinaki 17:10, 7 February 2006 (EST)

Sophie[edit]

Some Seppos just don't like it if anyone/thing outside their narrow world view gets a mention hereabouts. Perhaps you can help with the entry? Albatross2147 04:08, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Identity of Huntingtower vandaliser[edit]

Master Vinaki,

We've been doing some research on the vandaliser of the Huntingtower wiki article, and he's a repeat offender- we've managed to narrow him down to a single individual, and we're pretty sure it's him, and it's a student at Huntingtower. I'd rather not discuss his identity in an open forum like this page; please e-mail me at nattybumppo@gmail.com or AIM me at Buchobucho and I will share the information I have with you.

Thanks, Inspector Bumppo (NattyBumppo 08:44, 29 November 2006 (UTC))[reply]

P.S. KH is awesome.
