Welcome![edit]

Hello, Lolyouvegottobekiddingme, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

You may also want to complete the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit the Teahouse to ask questions or seek help. Need some ideas about what kind of things need doing? Try the Task Center.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome! I've removed your insults from Mathglot's page. Talk like that again and you'll be blocked. Bishonen | tålk 09:13, 15 May 2024 (UTC).[reply]

then maybe you wouldn't mind pointing out where I can report editors for their behavior which I'm only responding to? Because it doesn't look like there is any place to do that. The pillars are being violated by those telling me to read the pillars, repeatedly.
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia
Wikipedia combines many features of general and specialized encyclopedias, almanacs, and gazetteers. Wikipedia is not a soapbox, an advertising platform, a social network, a vanity press, an experiment in anarchy or democracy, an indiscriminate collection of information, nor a web directory. It is not a dictionary, a newspaper, nor a collection of source documents, although some of its fellow Wikimedia projects are.
Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view
We strive for articles with an impartial tone that document and explain major points of view, giving due weight for their prominence. We avoid advocacy, and we characterize information and issues rather than debate them. In some areas there may be just one well-recognized point of view; in others, we describe multiple points of view, presenting each accurately and in context rather than as "the truth" or "the best view". All articles must strive for verifiable accuracy with citations based on reliable sources, especially when the topic is controversial or is about a living person. Editors' personal experiences, interpretations, or opinions do not belong on Wikipedia.
Wikipedia is free content that anyone can use, edit, and distribute
All editors freely license their work to the public, and no editor owns an article – any contributions can and may be mercilessly edited and redistributed. Respect copyright laws and never plagiarize from any sources. Borrowing non-free media is sometimes allowed as fair use, but editors should strive to find free alternatives first.
Wikipedia's editors should treat each other with respect and civility
Respect your fellow Wikipedians, even when you disagree. Apply Wikipedia etiquette, and do not engage in personal attacks or edit wars. Seek consensus, and never disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point. Act in good faith, and assume good faith on the part of others. Be open and welcoming to newcomers. Should conflicts arise, discuss them calmly on the appropriate talk pages, follow dispute resolution procedures, and consider that there are 6,824,167 other articles on the English Wikipedia to improve and discuss.
Shortcut
Not to mention "original research" and "reliable resources".
Tell me, Bishonen, how would that make you YOU feel? And how would YOU feel knowing that editors just have free reign to destroy the work people put in and treat them with zero respect and the way this place is set up, there is no ability to report those who do this and should know better? Lolyouvegottobekiddingme (talk) 18:45, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
First a pretty important tip: if you want me to immediately notice you're talking to me, you can ping me by linking my username — writing not just "Bishonen" but [[User:Bishonen]]. As for where you can report editors, that would be the noticeboard WP:ANI. I seriously don't recommend it in this case, though, since the readers there are likely to think you're the one that's behaving badly. Read the warnings in WP:BOOMERANG. But that's up to you. If you complain a lot more politely (for instance, with some clear and civil explanations of the relevance of the Five Pillars to your complaint), I suppose it might work.
