Speedy deletion of Redecision Therapy[edit]

A tag has been placed on Redecision Therapy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. DustiSPEAK!! 02:36, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Adding links to articles[edit]

Regarding your edits adding external links to cognitive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and Reality Therapy, please see WP:ADVERT. -- The Anome (talk) 18:01, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The recent edit you made to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks. SJP (talk) 05:09, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Cognitive therapy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Livitup (talk) 05:10, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Reality Therapy. Oroso (talk) 05:10, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Modern Whig Party[edit]

A tag has been placed on Modern Whig Party, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

Request reason:

What did I do wrong? How is adding legitimate links vandalism?

Decline reason:

You were given numerous warnings, and chose to ignore them. OhNoitsJamie Talk 19:55, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

At the risk of being banned again, I want some clarification, please. Other than a few juvenile intentional vandalisms on a couple pages, what did I do that was wrong. I don't understand how adding a link to the Modern Whig Party on the Whig Party site is vandalism. The Modern Whig Party is a legitimate party that has more members than a number of parties that has Wikipedia entries.

I don't understand how adding a link to two therapeutic modalities on the List of Psychotherapies Wikipedia pages is vandalism. This page contains numerous psychotherapy modalities that have no web sites or have been very, very controversial.

I am not being difficult. I just don't understand this whole process. Again, I am just trying to figure this out and I do humbly apologize for the intentional vandalisms. I am sorry.

Thank you,

James W. Clifton

Request reason:

I did nothing wrong after the final warning. I simply added some legitimate external links to some Wikipedia entries. Thanks, James W. Clifton

Decline reason:

I would believe you except for this, pretty clearly at odds with WP:ELDaniel Case (talk) 04:37, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your editing has been causing problems. When your block expires, I suggest you seek mentorship through WP:ADOPT. Good intentions are not a substitute for knowing how things work here. — Jehochman Talk 04:40, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

I am struggling trying to figure all this out. My submission, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/American_Free_Soil_Party, was declined. I don't quite understand why. We are a brand new Party and there are no references yet. This is a Party I created. Please help me understand how our submission is any different from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veterans_Party_of_America

Thank you very much,

Pastor James W. Clifton April 18, 2014 JamesClifton (talk) 22:34, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If it's something you just created, it's not allowed to have an article on Wikipedia. See WP:NOTMADEUP. Please don't submit it anymore; it will just waste both your time and that of our reviewers. Jackmcbarn (talk) 22:40, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello JamesClifton. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "American Free Soil Party".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/American Free Soil Party}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 14:03, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
