SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

Don't do that again[edit]

[1] This isn't a playground. taunting and insulting other editors is absolutely unacceptable, and such an objectively unproductive comment deserves no warning. You know better. Dmcdevit·t 05:26, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Guide to block lengths. You might want to give this a glance. In any case, you're only hurting Wikipedia with this block as I've done nothing like this in the past and it will only result in me not being able to contribute. The times below are convention, based on protection of Wikipedia rather than punishment of the offender. Personal attacks — Blocks should not normally be used against general incivility or isolated incidents of personal attacks. GeeCee 18:09, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Are you aware of WP:WAF or WP:FICT? How do you suggest Tiberium be made to comply with them? - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 06:26, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm aware that the article needs change. Entirely removing the bulk of the article is not the way to fix the problems. Discuss it with other editors on Tiberium's talk page rather than repeatedly reverting it.
The bulk of the article is in violation of policy. All of this repeating-what-the-game-said-verbatim needs to go, in lieu of real-world claims based on reliable sources. It's not the business of this encyclopedia to repeat tables of fictional casualties from fictional works, but instead describe their impact on the real world. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 06:31, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Impact on the real world? Very little of the bulk of the fiction created has any notable impact on the real world at all. Find a better excuse. Howdoesthiswo 03:17, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Something Awful[edit]

Your edits on the page clearly betray your bias to the website. All the edits that were done were by consensus of the community and the image will be deleted when the backlog is cleared. The tax evasion notice was put there by an administrator and will be maintained for as long as the other controversies remain with it. The company was clearly in violation of Washington State law, clearly had a tax warrant issued and all those records are easily verifiable. It has passed tests for notably and relevance and will not be removed. Cumulus Clouds 00:09, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And just so we're clear, the ifd notice was posted on April 4, and resides there in case you had any questions.Cumulus Clouds 00:13, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think you're confusing the magnitude of events here, Something Awful was indicted for a crime they committed during the operation of their business. This is not a simple jaywalking ticket and as such it deserves to, and will, remain in the article. Cumulus Clouds 03:53, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's certainly what he says, and it's included to maintain NPOV, but there's no way to tell who's lying without submitting FOIA requests for court documents, which I don't think anyone's going to do. There's absolutely no reason to delete the section for all the reasons I've already stated and so it will be kept there pending some other material evidence that it was a "clerical error" as Lowtax said it was. Cumulus Clouds 04:08, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the picture of Fark.com will get deleted because that's a massive picture of a copyrighted webpage, all the rest are low resolution screenshots, which conform to the copyright tags they each have on their pages. Wikipedia isn't copyrighted so therefore it wouldn't be a copyright violation to post a picture of the front page on the site entry (which resides on the site anyway, so a person would kind of have to wonder why there's a picture in the first place). Sorry, Wikipedia releases all text under the GNU Free Documentation License, so they give up their claims to copyrighted material on their website. Cumulus Clouds 04:32, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
