Your account has been blocked indefinitely because it is being used only for vandalism. Furthermore, your username is a blatant violation of our username policy, meaning that it is profane, threatens, attacks or impersonates another person, or suggests that your intention is not to contribute to the encyclopedia. Please see our blocking and username policies for more information.

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, but users are not allowed to edit with accounts that have inappropriate usernames, and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, or would otherwise like to explain why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the following text to the bottom of your user talk page: {{unblock-un|new username|your reason here ~~~~}} Euryalus (talk) 08:45, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You haven't proposed a new username, nor have you said what constructive edits you intend to make. It would be most helpful to you if you gave a specific example of a substantive edit you would make(more than fixing spelling or grammar). 331dot (talk) 16:47, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dear 331dot,

Thank you for your response. I understand the concerns and I apologize for any inconvenience caused. I propose the new username 'KnowledgeContributor2024'. As for the constructive edits, I plan to contribute to the 'Software Development' section, specifically the 'Agile Methodologies' page. I noticed that it lacks information on some of the newer methodologies like 'Disciplined Agile Delivery'. I have substantial experience in this field and I believe I can provide valuable insights and references to improve the content.

Thank you for considering my request.

Best,

  • 331dot, I think this editor was just screwing around with no regard for our guidelines and very little common sense. The question is whether they have an editing in mind, because their somewhat inept experiments may also just be steps on the way to article creation--often a promotional one. Time will tell I suppose, if this user is unblocked. User:Euryalus, do you have an opinion? Drmies (talk) 17:38, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    I would agree with your assessment. 331dot (talk) 19:05, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The vandalism was unconstructive but relatively inoffensive. Of greater concern is the promotional sandbox article on Arifpay. You appear to have a conflict of interest on this topic. What will you do to manage that going forward? -- Euryalus (talk) 22:11, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
