Hello WilyD,

Thanks for your note. I have updated the Sridevi Nrithyalaya wiki article based on your suggestions. I have added a section on other similar dance institutions in the area; and provided more external links. I have also changed the content to make it non-advertisement type material. I have also made sure that all the content that I put in the article is verifiable - with several of the references and even just the google search.

Would you please review the article, and please let me know if the changes that I made are in line with what I needed to do. Thank you very much for your time in advance! If I need to contact in some other way, please let me know. (Teahouse?) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:ChennaiWiki/Sridevi_Nrithyalaya

Note that Category:Featured articles has articles that are generally considered to exemplify what we're gunning for. Merely looking at articles on similar topics is not always a good idea, because they might not be very good at all. WilyD 15:53, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Samee and WilyD,

Thank you for your welcome note, and moving the article to user page rather than deleting it as I did not have a saved copy. I will review the wiki guidelines and policies and Edit the article as needed. Please allow me to take a day or two to get up to speed on this.

I am not connected to the featured dance school, I want to share what I thought was exciting and useful to others about the specific style of the dance form that the school teaches and share some of their achievements. I thought I have provided many references as well.

I did mention about a couple of competing schools also (like Kalakshetra) which specializes in a slightly different field; may be I will add few more schools that teach good Bharatanatyam or Kuchipudi art styles to make it more generic information.

Thanks, ChennaiWiki ChennaiWiki (talk) 14:44, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I moved the page to User:ChennaiWiki/Sridevi Nrithyalaya, where you can take a bit more time to work on it before it's ready for the big show. I recommend Wikipedia:Your first article as a starting place for understanding how to write articles for Wikipedia. It also links other resources. Cheers, WilyD 11:38, 12 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
