Please do not add or change content, as you did at 2023 Hawaii wildfires, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Can you please provide a source for where you are getting the number 1,000 from? The source that you left clearly states 1,500 missing. It's possible that source is outdated, but please provide a new source before re-adding the number. Thank you.
