A revised version was uploaded 3 days later, on March 10, 2019. A year and =10 days later=, a follow-up, Timelapse of the Future, was released.

Timelapse of the Future: A Journey to the End of Time is a 2019 short animated pseudo-documentary web film created by American astronomy-themed musician and filmmaker John D. Boswell, following Timelapse of the Entire Universe.[1] The 29-minute film is a flowmotion — a combination of a hyper-lapse, time-lapse, and regular shots — of the universe from 2019 to the end of time, consisting of self-made and fair use footages films, the Internet, and speeches by scientists, with the lapse doubling every five seconds, using current knowledge, combining different hypotheses.
