February 2024[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in HMS Talbot (1895), disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. CodeTalker (talk) 00:55, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in HMHS Asturias, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. From the Manual of Style on ship pronouns, your change was reverted as it was inconsistent (instances of she or her were not replaced with it) and no rationale was provided for changing the pronouns to "it/its". Your changes look to be incredibly widespread and limited to only certain portions of the article. Please take a look at how we should write about the pronouns of ships, and if you're going to make these broad changes, make sure it's consistent and you have a good reason to do so.
