Rock music is a form of popular music and the most genre ever in the world by listeners after pop music, rhythm and blues, and country music (later known as "more popular than pop music" or "everybody rocking").

Do:

1. Rock pianist: For example: Fats Domino, Little Richard, and Jerry Lee Lewis. Hybrid between piano style with emotional vocals. Later, Billy Joel, Jackson Browne, Sarah McLachlan, Ben Folds, and Sara Bareilles influenced it.

The 80s scene was dominated by glam metal/new wave artists including Bon Jovi, Cinderella, Cyndi Lauper, Def Leppard, Lene Lovich, Level 42, Nina Hagen, Patty Smyth, Simple Minds, and Van Halen.

Indie scene: For example: Amanda Palmer, Amy Macdonald, Arcade Fire, Cat Power, Diana Vickers, Echosmith, Ellie Goulding, Graham Coxon, Kaiser Chiefs, Kasabian, Lisa Hannigan, My Morning Jacket, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Strokes, and Sufjan Stevens.
