Donald William Rutledge

Donald William Rutledge [[1]] was an ANZAC who served for New Zealand during World War I in Samoa, Gallipoli and France.

He was born in Dunedin, New Zealand on the 7th of August 1891 and was the eldest son of Barret Rutledge (born Lyttelton, New Zealand of Irish descent) and Elizabeth (Donaldson, born Edinburgh).
