About Me

My name is Andrew Spracklen. I am currently a sophomore at Anderson University, where I am majoring in biology.

I was born in 1986 and have spent all of my life living in central Illinois.

Interests include biology, reenacting the American Civil War, painting miniatures, reading, and playing video games and board games.

Wikipedia

Since discovering Wikipedia, I have frequented the site often. I have always been impressed with the knowledge that could be found by perusing through the various articles, as well as the ability to quickly and accurately research a topic. Until recently, I have only been a benefactor of Wikipedia, never a contributor. Recently, I have realized that there are many articles and stubs relating to biology, that require editing, expansion, and in some cases, entire articles that need to be written. It is my hope that as I mature intellectually and my knowledge base in the field of biology grows that I will be able to contribute to Wikipedia by working both on my own and in collaboration with others to both improve existing articles and write new ones.
