"Talk Me Down" is the title of a song recorded by Canadian singer-songwriter Alyssa Reid for her debut studio album, The Game (2010). Written by Reid along with Dave Thomson, Jamie Appleby and Jesse Labelle, the song is a musical departure from her previous rhythmic-leaning singles and lyrically addresses the topic of bullying.[1] It was released as the third and final single from the album in April 2012.[2]

Music video[edit]

The music video for "Talk Me Down" was directed by Marc Andre Debruyne and debuted April 16, 2012.[3] It was made available for purchase through iTunes on May 22, 2012.[4] The storyline for the video revolves around a high school student who is the victim of cyber bullying and explores the mental unrest and physical abuse that can accompany bullying scenarios.[1][5] It ends with the message "If you're not part of the solution you're part of the problem."

Chart performance[edit]

"Talk Me Down" debuted at number 97 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 on the chart dated May 5, 2012.[6]
