"Please, Please Stay" is a folk pop song written by Matt Laurent and Daniel Cinelli, initially recorded by Laurent's Canadian ukulele band Lucky Uke for their second studio album, Sunburn (2012). It was released to radio and digital retailers on August 28, 2012 through Vega Musique (in Canada) and Republic Records (internationally) as the record's lead single, and was digitally re-issued on October 30, 2012.[1][2] The song features guest vocals by American singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat on the single version. Laurent later recorded a version of the song, also featuring Caillat, for his self-titled debut studio album in 2014.[3]
