Pastors of Today

The pastors of today are very different from the pastors our parents had in the past years. Recently the priests in various churches has been reported in performing shameful activities in the eyes of the society. Pastors were known as the most respective people in the society who were suppose not to do bad things in the eyes of the people , but instead to lead them by the good examples. Today the priest have engaged themselves in sexual abuse, fraud and illegal relation with young girls. the reporters has been reporting more about pastors engaging themselves in sexual activities, Just recently a 25 years ELCIN pastor has impregnate a schoolgirl this really bring shame to all of us as members of elcin. This also remind us of the pastor who impregnates a 15 year old daughter twice after wife's death in Lagos. This is no excuse to any action that was taken by this pastor, the fact that his wife is dead does no give him right to impregnate his daughter in.

Catholic priests are also excising cruel activities as they are reported to be abusing teenagers sexually, one Catholic priest was sued over teenager's pregnancy. In Nigeria pastor,Princewil Basi is on tial for violating and aborting a pregnancy of a 14 years old gal.

in conclusion I can then say that today the pastors only perform their duties as priests only when they are in front of people at church, but once they step outside they then turn into different people and do totally different things which are not expected of them.
