Magadanski Uchen (real name Georgi Nikolaev Popov) is born on September 10, 1989 in Shumen, Bulgaria. Currently (September 2008) he is a student in the Technical University of Varna, Bulgaria, with a major in Communication Technology.
He got his primary education in the "Petar Beron" elementary school, being the best student in his class. Georgi has participated in many extracurricular activities and has won many prizes.
In the year of 2000, when he was in 4th grade, Georgi wrote a tale, that was included in a book of tales by children, for children.
After graduating 7th grade, Georgi went to study to the "Nancho Popovich" Nature and Mathematics High school in a class with intensive study of biology and chemistry. Besides his profiled subjects, he had interest in others as well, some of which are mathematics, physics, information technology and informatics.
In 10th grade he gained great interest in web design and went to extra classes in HTML and CSS coding, along with learning to use Photoshop from internet tutorials. Photoshop inspired him not only for web graphics but also impelled him to digitally process photos and study some photography.
At the age of 18 (11th grade), Georgi participated in the USAP (United States' Student Achievers Program) Bulgaria, applying to a number of US Higher Education facilities. He was accepted in both Radford University and in Stetson University with a presidential scholarship. However, because of his monetary status, neither of these scholarships were sufficient in aiding him continue his studies in web design in the US.
At the time he as in 12th grade he participated in IT Olympiad, along with a very good friend of his in a team, with a web site they built. Despite their hard work, they didn't score enough to go to the national level of the Olympiad. According to him he and most other participants in the olympiad were misjudged as no team got any score at all, rather they were either admitted to the next round or not, which was conflicting with the official reglamentation.
Georgi graduated high school with an excellent diploma, and applied in the Technical University of Varna where he was accepted with a major in Communication Technology.
In the year 2012 Georgi graduated college with an excellent diploma mostly because of his bachelor's thesis. The subject of his thesis was Development of Multimedia Web-App.
