Lead evaluation[edit]

Good job on finding information about Dr. Simbayi. It's clear that he is a research psychologist who has held high positions. It may be helpful to include a brief description of the article's major sections: Career, News/Media, Membership - without going into too much detail, but a general overview of what the rest of the article is about. For example, mentioning his career in teaching, researching, etc.

This information may be too detailed: "Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Research of the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) since 2016. He is the former Executive Director of the HIV/AIDS, STIs and TB research programme within the HSRC at which he served from 2010 to 2015." & I think it should be mentioned again later on in the article.

Content[edit]

Content evaluation[edit]

I'm impressed by how much information you've found on your subject. Great work. It seems like he's contributed a lot.

It may be helpful to include a section that lists all the positions/titles he's held.

Tone and Balance[edit]

Tone and balance evaluation[edit]

Good job on neutrality.

Sources and References[edit]

Guiding questions:

  • Is all new content backed up by a reliable secondary source of information?
  • Are the sources thorough - i.e. Do they reflect the available literature on the topic?
  • Are the sources current?
  • Check a few links. Do they work?

Sources and references evaluation[edit]

Organization[edit]

Organization evaluation[edit]

Good job on the organization and the different sections.

-"For the last two decades" - It may help to specify what year he started.

-Career section- would it be more clear to have a sub-heading for the first paragraph like "Teaching"?

-"at several different universities within Southern Africa" - South Africa instead of Southern?

Images and Media[edit]

Images and media evaluation[edit]

Can you find a picture of him? Maybe pictures of universities he's affiliated with? Journal covers?

For New Articles Only[edit]

New Article Evaluation[edit]

Good use of secondary sources. All the links work.

Overall impressions[edit]

Overall evaluation[edit]

Good work so far. I thought the strongest point was finding information on all the positions he's had as executive director, deputy chief, chairperson, editor, etc. This is what stuck out to me in the most going through the article.

It may be more interesting to go more in depth with his research findings.
