At least nine people were killed when drone missiles struck a vehicle and compound in the Mandi Khel area. Two hours later, drones struck the same location again, killing at least five more people who were retrieving the dead bodies. Pakistani officials suggested they could be linkred to Taliban commander Hafiz Gul Bahadur, officials in Peshawar and Miranshah told the AFP news agency.
