Hi all!

I read of this project in a newspaper, and the same day (last sunday) I wrote already an article (El Cid).

I have followed the development of Linux for many years now, and it always seemed to me one of those ideas that reconciles you with the world. Such a pity I can't help there because of the lack of knowledge. Being just a clerk with some english, perhaps I can't do much here as well. But at least I can try to write about things in my culture. Perhaps that'd be interesting for the project.

I have to say everything seems quite easy to do, this is very positive, so that really anybody can write and edit. But please excuse my mistakes as a newcomer (still learning!).

The Wikipedia will be great.

I'm glad you liked my work on the El Cid article. Your English is quite good enough for me to start with and polish--and I know far less about Spain and Spanish culture than I'd like. We really could use more on Barcelona and Madrid, among other topics. If you're really feeling brave, the Reconquista, Los Reyes Catolicos, and the expulsion of the Jews from Spain all deserve articles. --Vicki Rosenzweig
