History

The company was founded on August 13, 1998 by Delmer, Tony, and Kassandra Autry and is based in Elizabethtown, North Carolina. Tony had a telecommunications day job and in the year 2000 started by selling gun parts on eBay. In July of 2002 the domain DEL-TON.COM was registered, derived from the names of Delmer and Tony.

In 2007, Del-Ton moved into a 4,500-square-foot building in an industrial park in Elizabethtown, N.C. Del-Ton quickly outgrew that building, so in 2009, the Autrys moved the business into a 10,800-square-foot building in the same industrial park. In 2013, Del-Ton completed a major renovation/addition to its manufacturing facilities, and restructured key staff.

Products

The company manufactures AR-15-style rifles and pistols chambered for the .223 Remington, 5.56×45mm NATO, .308 Winchester, 7.62x39mm, and .300 Blackout cartridges. In addition, they also sell a wide assortment of related kits and parts on their website.
