DROOIDS is a multi-tiered/multi-media project established during the summer of 2013 in Basel, Switzerland. The sound and performance program is rooted in montage and musique concrete.
Members of DROOIDS change frequently and with a focus on collaboration, new “members” are absorbed as well as rotated.
DROOIDS participated in ’Second Exposure’ of The Plates of the Present[1], an invitational photogram project based in Paris, organized by artists Thomas Fougeirol and Jo-ey Tang. On October 26th they exhibited photograms and performed at La Cantine de Belleville.
