I am an educational developer working at a Teaching and Learning Centre in Canada at the University of Waterloo, where I also teach in the Gender and Social Justice (formerly Women's Studies) program.

Recently I ran a Wikipedia editing project with my first year students, using archive materials from my institution. I'm very keen to continue helping students to learn in this vein.

I'm also interested in making sure the historical and contemporary field of educational development/ faculty and TA development/ academic development is well-mapped. The declared conflict of interest I should flag is that I was on the founding executive of two professional organizations (National and Provincial) in the 2000s, so some of the history of TLCs in Canada I have direct rather than secondary knowledge of.
