History[edit]

The idea stems from founder Kareem Taylor, a broke resident assistant and moocher of free housing at the finest institution in the world, Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. During Kareem’s experience as a RA, he developed a unique and caring relationship with his residents by assisting them with the everyday challenges that college students deal with.

During one of his desk shifts, a light bulb went off in his head. He figured, what better way than to make this information easily accessible via the web. Resident Assistants are at the center of it all and have plenty of information in what we call, Desk Duty Diaries.
