Agilitek Corporation, a management consulting firm based in Markham, Ontario, Canada, specializes in information technology (IT) project management, business analysis and software testing.[1] Agilitek’s consultants also publish books,[2] design courses,[3] develop products[4] and speak professionally[5] in their areas of expertise. Working directly with their clients or in collaboration with their partners, some of Agilitek’s engagements include Dell Canada, BMO Financial Group, CIBC, Scotiabank, General Motors of Canada, Honda of Canada Mfg. (HCM), Queen’s University and all levels of government.[6]

Dr. John A. Estrella, a specialist in project management, with his wife Maria C. Estrella,[7] founded Agilitek in 1999.[6] Dr. Estrella was awarded the Gaylord E. Christle Scholarship by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Educational Foundation towards his doctoral degree.[8] He is also an accomplished speaker, participating in various international events dedicated to his field of expertise;[9] the author of several books in project management,[10][11] business analysis[12] and software testing[7]; and a project team member in The Standard for Program Management – Second Edition.[13]
