Marie Kirby (born September 16, 1989) is an Irish beauty queen who won the Morning Star Rose competition.
Personal[edit]
Marie Kirby was born in 1989 in Lough Gur, Limerick.She is a third-year student at the University of Limerick, studying nursing
Marie has brown hair and blue eyes. She is a fan of walking. She is the youngest in a family of three.
Morning Star Rose 2009[edit]
Kirby won the 2009 Morning Star Rose pageant on August 2, 2009 in the Bruff GAA clubhouse, where she represented Nagles Eurospar. She surpassed 14 other contestants from the area. Her special talent was playing the flute. She is the fourth Morning Star Rose and the first winner from Lough Gur. She will be attempting to become the Limerick Rose that will enter the 2010 Rose Of Tralee.
Rose Duties[edit]
As the Morning Star Rose, Marie has had to appear at certain events in Bruff; these include a classical music concert,[1] opening the Community Cafe, modelling in a fashion show and turning on the Christmas lights.
Work[edit]
Kirby has been employed in Nagles Eurospar, Bruff at the deli counter for four years.
