DigitalChalk is a Learning Management System that allows users to create and sell their own SCORM-compliant courses online.[1][2][3] Users are able to customize the appearance of their courses, their notification emails, certificates of completions, and terms of service.[4]

DigitalChalk was founded on 26 September 2006 by Troy Tolle and Russ Steinhour. The company is headquartered in Asheville, North Carolina, United States.[5]
Digitalchalk enables user to sell courses online at their own price. The courses are provided through video presentations, online testing, customizable certificates and REST API.[6] The site also enables user to provide training courses to employees and stuffs with employee progress tracking, goals setting and measuring the impact of training on critical issues such as safety, HR, compliance etc.[7] The Chalkboard Element allows users to upload video, synchronize PowerPoint slides, create online slides with the HTML editor. User can embed websites and video clips directly within presentation. The Content Timeline editor allows user quickly synchronize all types of content to create presentations slides.[5]

Allows user to guide student progress via prerequisites and learning paths. Also allows online tests, assignments, user data export , real-time reports. Brand courses with your logo and colors. The site also enables user to customize groups and terms of use, certificate of completions, email notifications and thumbnail images for each course.
The Sharable Content Object Reference Model element allows users to upload SCORM compliant content within the DigitalChalk platform. It is a set of technical standards for presenting content on e-learning, online training platforms, and Learning Management Systems. The most common form of content uploaded within this element, is a PowerPoint presentation that has previously been converted to SCORM compliant material. The Web Archive element helps to upload zip files or add an external URL to import content directly into the platform. This element is used for PowerPoint presentations, website content, or YouTube/Vimeo videos.[8]
