I think the removal of Gankyil ( http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Triune&diff=276210306&oldid=276098757 ) was quite inadequate. It's obviously a triune symbol, fitting exactly into this article. I also do not understand how Samyama being triune can be someone's 'Original Research', if its triple nature and triune implications had been explicitly detailed both in the Yoga Sutras, where the term had been introduced, and in practically any other reference to it. See WP:DISAMBIG. "Only add links to articles that could use essentially the same title as the disambiguated term." Mitsube (talk) 18:48, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think the above mentioned specific guideline could be used as an excuse for vandalizing the article here. This article is actually a list of directly triune-related articles/topics, which may be further expanded to include also other connected topics and articles. This kind of list is needed for better cross-referencing and organization of information. The Disambiguation category is the closest match for the current moment, and must not become a limiting factor or justification for blanking out whole sections of useful material. Thanks. The other articles linked could reasonably be named "triune" or contain the word in their title. Mitsube (talk) 18:42, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please check WP:COMMON SENSE, Wikipedia:Reasonability Rule and Wikipedia is not a bureaucracy. And, speaking about adhering to the guidelines, please DO adhere to these in first place. Your edits are predominantly devastating and disruptive, they show great disrespect for other people's positive efforts to improve and enrich the content of Wikipedia. They are a feasible threat for the preservation of valuable information as well. If something is not 100% perfectly formatted or referenced, please take effort to improve the situation through constructive actions, preserving the already present positive value of the sections you do edit. Otherwise, please abstain from any actions, don't blank out other people's valuable input. I'm currently considering starting a vote to restrict your ability to edit, to save other articles from your destructive actions. Please help me save your status. Regards. I don't think that anyone else would find your arguments convincing either, honestly. Mitsube (talk) 00:20, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I don't find your arguments convincing at all. Moreover, I find your approach sick and maniacal. If we have a beginning of a list of Triune-related topics, a constructive way is:
  • either to split it into two separate articles, one of them strictly disambiguation one, and the other one a list of Triune-related topics. The first containing reference to the second.; or
  • to combine all the info into one article we have now. As at this moment the number of topics is still small, this second approach is most reasonable. So, don't touch the GOOD article, unless you're creating a second one, better and fuller!
Your last repeated removals were definitely BAD. I was thankful to whoever put Gankyil onto this page, because I wouldn't have found it otherwise. I found it through Triune-related research, and it belongs here. If you remove it, you do a BAD thing. Thanks. NazarK (talk) 18:32, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RFC Triune[edit]

I'm just trying to test how RFC works. The issue here is not that big, but I believe to be right in the above argument. Thanks for participation and please correct me if I'm wrong :) NazarK (talk) 18:58, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • The remover was quite right, this page should link to articles that could be titled "triune". Linking to a symbol that represents it (Gankyil, Clover, Triangle) is inappropriate. However, it is appropriate to include "the philosophical and doctrinal triune of Dzogchen", if reliable sources show that it can be known by this name. Also, the style of the page could do with a cleanup - see MOS:DAB. OrangeDog (talkedits) 00:59, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
